10 Healers in 10 Nights ~ Yamin
We all know this girl, or at least damn well should by now XD; So do I still have to do her profile, even tho everyone already knows everything? Yes, because otherwise this thing wouldn't be complete. So, here's Madame Yamin, whose song is Afraid to fly by Taxiride.
Name~ Madame Yamin
Age~ 20
Currently Appearing In~ A LOT =D Prolly 100-odd minifics, five or six short stories, and of course Silent Harmony.
Orientation~ Straight
Origin~ Ni-Yana, capital of Raykin, about halfway down the Ra-Lin. YES that's the last time I have to type that! XD;
Significant Other(s)~ Single
Background~ Born in Ni-Yana, Yan rocked up, killed parentals, lumped her with an yrae stone, dumped twins at palace, 'min started healing, now head healer, yay!
Employment~ Head healer at the palace healing house, specialising in snake bites (and the bois want me to put down hangover cures X3)
Appearance~ Tall for a Raykinian girl, since her mother was a desert person, and before Yan rocked up, she did~ have slightly darker skin than your average river person. Now of course, she's so white that she glows~ XD; White hair, white skin, and light blue eyes. Her hair's dead straight and reaches down to her shoulder blades, and she's got a thick fringe that hangs to just above her eyebrows. Also more flat chested than her sister, and if they'd never been lumped with yrae stones, that'd prolly be the only way to tell them apart now XD; And of course she's got the wing clasp things, which I completely forgot to put on the chibi, cos I suck like that. Might fix that sooner or later. Maybe.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ She's freaking WHITE, what more do you need? XD;
Quirks~ She'd never said a word in her entire life, ditto with her sister. She also has a habit of biting her bottom lip and playing with the ends of her hair when she's deep in concentration, and fiddles with the stones in her bangle when she's worrying about something.
Sin-of-Anger~ She's generally an incredibly patient girl, but when stuff just starts piling up and piling up and other people are lumping her with their problems because they reckon she's a good listener, she starts getting more than a bit twitchy. She tries to keep a calm face, but the whole "WHY CAN'T YOU PEOPLE LEAVE ME ALONE~~" vibe comes across pretty strongly XD; And then people feel guilty, because Yamin never looks like the kind of person who deserves to be angry X3;;
Sin-of-Envy~ Envy for people who still have their family. She's still technically got Nimay, but of course Nimay's not allowed to know of her existence until their hrai-dani, so she feels a bit lost and alone in that respect.
Sin-of-Pride~ She's proud of her position as head healer, certainly.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ Nup, none of that.
Sin-of-Lust~ 'twould appear not.
Sin-of-Avarice~ She's one of the more selfless people you'll meet ^^
Sin-of-Sloth~ Only during heatwaves, but that's pretty much the whole kingdom.
Virtues~ For the first, ooh, decade or so of her time at the palace, she was incredibly shy, mostly because she was absolutely paranoid about Nimay seeing her then Yan coming back, but it's since become second nature to her. More recently tho, as of her... seventeenth birthday, I guess, the other healers have been trying to get her our of the house, so to speak, so she's been getting better. She's determined, and has made a solomn vow to herself to never hate anyone or leave a room feeling angry. 'Cept Yan of course, but he doesn't count cos he's not alive anyway =3;
Hah, that barely took 20 minutes. The others took at least an hour. Ah~ I love not having to make up a bloody background XD;
