Oh yes, such a thing exists...

Characters to characterise:

The healers, especially Ramnaré and Nanuka. The rawest of basics are there, but I've still got little idea about any of them. I really need to do a fic like the Own fic I did last year, with the healers--do successive weeks each written by one of the healers. Problem being that life in a healing house isn't quite~ as interesting as on the road with the Own =D;; Maybe I could do it more like a few diary entries instead, meant for their eyes only. Or something. I need to characterise these these girls properly.

Empress Shizaaqa of Kazin. Oh~ yeah, need to get this girl worked out. I've written her maybe~ three times? And damn that girl is fun. However, she still needs work. There's that random chick that appeared in one minific a while ago who I know is going to come into her story somehow. Shizaaqa needs to get up to the standard of the twins and Nol. Not sure exactly how much airtime she'll have in the fic, but she needs proper characterisation.

The Silronan and Sissillyan queens. Nothing major just yet, but they come into various missions with the Own, so characterise them if for nothing but the minifics.

Llayan royalty. Lynnlita's pretty much there, Amyrallyn's much the same only not quite so bitchy, and I forget the names of her other older sister and older brother =D;; Tillekaro, that's her brother... Nup, I've completely lost the name of her oldest sister. And their parentals, King Keldirande and Queen Rildana. OMG I CAN'T EVEN SPELL MY OWN CHARACTERS' NAMES. They're not going to appear in SH for a~~~ges yet tho, so I can take my time over them. Which I think is why I haven't touched any of them 'cept Amyrallyn ^^;;

Tsaythi royalty. Not all of them tho. There are probably, ooh, 20-odd members, including spouses. King~ Tusa and Queen... No wait. Queen Tusa. King... oh piss. There's a Zu in there somewhere too. Tsayth clearly doesn't happen until ages after Llayad XD;;;

Thiras. You'll barely see any of her stuff. She's so spoilery it hurts.

The random desert group that appears in SH. So far they've kinda just sat there going "we're desert people, y0." They're not really giving off the whole "Vee keeeeeel j00, eeveel river types >O" vibe I've been going for. Fleh.

Characters to poke more regularly

Yan =D See if I cna actually try my hand at getting this whole complicated and contradictory thing working in words, not just in my head. It works in my head until I start thinking about it too much. But I've already had a whole rant on Yan XD;;

Mithé. He's essentially 'may's father, since she doesn't remember her own, and I don't think I've ever written a fic with just the two of them in it. Plenty of father-son things, no father-foster-daughter fics.

Random people to create
Nothing whatsoever to do with SH itself, just some random families to show how the non-royalty, non-richies of the various nations live. This all comes after~ I'm confident with all the people up top there XD;

~~Raykin ~ Desert group, specifically that one that appears in SH. Kill two birds with one stone =D~~

Raykin ~ River traders, based in Ni-Yana, but travel up and down the Ra-Lin, so I can show the big cities as well as the tinpot towns of 20 people and a pub X3

Kazin ~ Southern/mountians. Maybe a carpenter? That's something you wouldn't get a lot of in Raykin X3;

Kazin ~ Northern/tropical. Have to be based in Assiraz, since that's the capital which I've shown NONE OF. Who~ can tell me what the Kazinian royal building looks like? Palace? Castle? Multi-storeyed? All ground level? I HAVE NO IDEA. But yeah, tropical Kazin family... not army, even tho that's what Kazin's based around. I've got enough army guys. Ooh! Ooh! Someone who works in one of the Houses! XD That'd be fun~ >D

Kazin ~ Tisadez. Purely for fun.Tisadez is so far out of the way of everywhere, and there's nothing there, so it's never going to come into the story at all. Might get a passing mention, but won't appear properly. Tisadez'll just be fun X3

Llayad ~ Oh I want to do a knight >> Farmer, prolly. Maybe with a fortune teller for a wife. Llayans are into that. Phr34ks.

Tsayth ~ Sailor. Duh. Which means I'm going to have to find out some things about sailing and boats. Can you see why I havne't really touched the Tsaythis yet? =D;;

Tsayth ~ Land-dweller. They prolly have a nickname, and it's not land lubbers =P WHAT THE HELL DO TSAYTHIS DO ALL DAY? I mean, I get the whole water-purification thing, that'd fill in your day for those people... but they must do something for fun. Yes, they're ridiculously practical to counter the disgustingly gaudy and artsy Llayans, but they have to have some sort of fun thing to do, otherwise they'd go stir crazy and die of boredom.

Other random musings

Kazin doesn't have pine trees anymore, or oaks, or anything deciduous. I've put the effort into making Raykin nice and not-typically-fantasy in that it's definitely not European-based, then kinda give up on the southern half of Kazin. So screw that. It's essentially the Adelaide Hills now, predominantly various gums. Stringy bark, blue gums, river red gums mebee, just cos they're huge~ and pritti and it's my kingdom and I'll do what I want with it X3 Ooh, and paper bark =D I bet they write on paper bark. Accacias, wattle, and I've already stuck casuarinas in there. Now the blade archers have gumnuts to throw as well XD Weather allso Hills-y, only they're more elevated, so 5-10 degrees cooler on average, I reckon. They keep their snow X3

That said, they would still have a few deciduous trees there, imported and planted from Llayad just to brighten the place up in Autumn. We've done it in the Hills with oaks, golden ashes and liquid ambers, why not the Kazinians? X3

I'm so glad I'm not a Tsaythi.
