And thus completes Shizaaqa's Commanding Circle! And also all the royals except those in the top eight! And also all the (human) Kazinians! (I'm doing their gods, too. Amazed neither of them have come up yet.) WOOOOO CELEBRATE MILESTONE.
Rezzi smirked a smirky smirk. He and Shizaaqa both got Mummy's bright green eyes, red hair and thin lips, but Rezzi's rounder face comes from his dad, who is not Shizaaqa's dad. ALSO his tat is your first teaser of Ulzaq, Kazinian god of war.
NAME Commanderis Rezzi. The -is suffix means he's also royalty. Double-Z is pronounced like that in 'pizza'.
WHO IS THIS PERSON One of Empress Shizaaqa's Commanding Circle in Assiraz, Kazin. He's also her brother, hence the crown and matching Colours.
GENDER Male

BRIEF BIO Rezzi is the eldest of four children, and I realise now that I haven't done the third child in Queen Issa but tbh she ranks so low on the scale of important characters that I can't be bothered with her. So Rezzi, first boy followed by three girls, knew early on that he'd have to make his mark and make it fast. He started army training at five, as per the norm, and quickly started excelling with anything bladed. He even picked up a Raykinian palu every now and then just cos. Empress Yasina, though, reminded him daily that his weaponry expertise meant nothing if he wanted to leave his mark. As her only son, she rode him hard. She was constantly asking him why he wasn't further along in his studies than he was, even as his superiors in the army were telling her he was excelling. Rezzi never heard any of that from them, though he did hear it from the other trainees in his battalion.
In the end, Rezzi graduated early, though his mother disdained him for not graduating earlier. It wasn't until she was on her death bed that she admitted how proud of him she was, and told him how far she knew he could go. Rezzi rolled his eyes and promised to suck up to his little sister to get the top job. The day she died he got a tattoo of Ulzaq, the god of war, on his shoulder to very boldly announce his intentions. Shizaaqa rolled his eyes at him and said, just for that, she wouldn't make him general. Rezzi swore and promised her he'd still make it into her Circle, anyway.
And so, through various battle deeds and leadership stuff, he did, and there he remains today.
CHARACTER Completely cocksure, incredibly vain, but has the respect of both his peers and his subordinates. Rezzi is absolutely dedicated to his sister, and easily her most trusted commander. He rarely ever thinks before he speaks, which Shizaaqa doesn't mind so much because she always knows exactly what's on his mind and can see so easily when he's holding something back. He seems like he's not listening or paying attention, but then just comes out with the solution or the best advice with a casual shrug like he was expecting you to say that. Smarter than he looks, is Rezzi.

Rezzi started going bald in his late 20s so he started shaving his head completely and grew a beard to hide it.
