I'm getting really bored of desert people, seriously.
He kinda looks like Rumal. I don't think he was supposed to. Eh.
NAME Ruwi
WHO IS THIS PERSON One of the random desert group I created for the purpose of having a desert group. Ruwi is Gunai's eldest child.
GENDER Male
AGE 25
BRIEF BIO Ruwi was old enough to understand the decline of his family group was due to the elders stubbornly not dying, despite being an obvious burden to the rest of the group. He decided from an early age that he wanted to be a leader when he grew up, so he's been learning from his father.
The family group was at its smallest, with only five members left, when Laer’s group joined up and saved them from extinction. Ruwi picked Weya out as being the most likely to be a leader, but their relationship didn't last long. He never felt any romance towards her, only duty, since he'd never been in love before. When Lynun turned up, he realised there was more to love than what Weya offered him, so he got with Lynun instead, and the pair have since had two children.
Ruwi has been learning from all the elders: he respects his own father's strength, Laer's iron-fisted leadership, and Qowen's patience, though he thinks all three of them take their strengths too far. Ruwi himself can be a little overbearing, not realising that he isn't yet in charge.
CHARACTER Ruwi is good at resolving conflicts, and the current elders almost talk to him as though he's one of them, though he doesn't have quite the same authority. He has the respect of the others of his generation, certainly.
POINTS OF INTEREST
