15 in 15 #7 ~ Kaen

I forgot last night, didn't I? Oops, my bad. Anyway, next member: Kaen, whose character is based on the song A Stroke of Luck by Garbage. If you know me at all, you knew this song was coming sooner or later XD; Also? Despite him being a blade archer, Kaen is not Kael from Blade Archer. I only just realised the flukey similarity of their names and occupations when I started matching songs to characters a month ago ^^;;;;;

Significant Other(s)~ Wife
Background~ Being the son of a former rider of the Own, Kaen's never exactly lived in poverty. He began training at 15 and quickly excelled with the dagger and throwing knives, but was also probably good enough with a bow to at least be in Second Company. He married at 20, like most other guys, but~ it was more so he wouldn't look bad than any other reason. He laid on the love and romance to the poor girl until they married, but since then, he's physically forced her to stay. Have a squizzie at the lyrics, that explains the situation pretty well. He gives her all the shinies she wants, but has been known to beat her if she does something wrong.
Employment~ First Company blade archer and rider for the King's Own
Appearance~ Tall for a Raykinian, hair cropped short, scars here and there, as you do.... and he's vera sessy.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ Nothing as such. He's just yummy.
Quirks~ This is a quirk of most blade archers, but especially those in First Company. They have a bad~ habit of ditching things at people. Whether they're at the bar, training, being debriefed on the next mission, even on a mission, they're always throwing random pebbles or fruit pips at people. Inevitably, it's the ones who seriously can't stand it who get attacked most often. Being in the Own, and therefore either the best or second best blade archer in the kingdom, Kaen is particularly bad at this.

Sin-of-Anger~ Only at home, otherwise he's not too bad. He is a sore loser tho.
Sin-of-Envy~ Not a chance
Sin-of-Pride~ Oh~ yes. Kaen's a very sore loser, so it's a good thing it doesn't happen too often. Least, not with his throwing knives. He tends to train alone with his other weapons tho, and barely at all with his sword. He likes going into bars he doesn't usually frequent and having contests with the other people there. They generally don't take very kindly to him when they find out he's been jipping them of their money, not telling them he's in the Own.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ He just eats a lot of really expensive food. No more actual content than most people would have, but he's not afraid to fork out many ieces of gold for good food.
Sin-of-Lust~ Definitely, and he's not loyal to his wife like most of the other blokes in the Own are, either.
Sin-of-Avarice~ Lotta that one too. He knows he's one of the highest-paid guys in Raykin, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to keep the coinage for himself. If his wife asks for something though, he'll pay for it, just so stays.
Sin-of-Sloth~ None of that. He's very dedicated to his training, willing to get up before dawn and train until dusk.
Virtues~ Well... So long as you're a bloke, and don't mention married life, he's a fun guy to be around. Otherwise he's a bastid .-.;
