Someone who already has a character, to a certain extent. Melraan the swordsman, yay! I don't have to make up everything on the spot! Just... most of it =3;; Not based on a song as such, but we'll match Get the party started by P!nk with him, just cos everyone else gets a song, and that one suits him so long as you imagine it's a guy singing and not a girl >>;

Age~ 29
Currently Appearing In~ About 30-odd mini!fics. Nothing concrete as such yet tho, but that'll come =3
Orientation~ Straight
Origin~ Ni-Yana, capital of Raykin
Significant Other(s)~ Wife (yes, he's married, who'da thunk it?)
Background~ This bit I am making up on the spot =D;; I've always imagined him to have had a pretty average background as far as the Own goes. He had supportive parents, and his father was previously a swordsman for First Company, so he had good training for that weapon, and was allowed to start training earlier as a result--he started when he was 13 instead of the traditional 15. Married when he was 20 and got into the Own two years later. Made friends with Nol and 'may when the lot of them went over to Llayad for one of the tournaments, since Nol somehow managed to convince about half the Own to go (he wasn't with them at this point, just a regular archer). And~ stuff. I originally created Melraan as a typical horse rider of Raykin, with no thoughts to actually using him in the story as a proper character, so that's why he's, well, typical ^^;
Employment~ First Company swordsman and rider for the King's Own
Appearance~ Slightly taller than average, messy hair that's about shoulder-length and often tied up in a pointless ponytail. Wears a gold chain necklace except when he's on a mission with the Own. Broad shoulders and well-muscled arms. Scars, as per the norm with these guys.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ Not as such
Quirks~ He has a habit of imitating people. Also, when someone buggers something up, he emphasises the second syllable of their name to mock them ("Nolryn!"). Kinda hard to explain that one. I know exactly how it sounds in my head, can't put it into words/phonetics too well tho. Very dry, sarcastic sense of humour that you're either going to find incredibly funny or incredibly annoying.
Sin-of-Anger~ Nah, Melraan's not an angry person. He won't hesitate to jump to the defence of any of the guys in the Own tho, if anyone starts talking them down.
Sin-of-Envy~ He envies 'may's magic, always pestering her to slip the bracelet off and let him have a shot, which she obviously can't do.
Sin-of-Pride~ This is just about a given with most of these blokes. Melraan's a showoff, possibly moreso than Nol. Constantly boasts that he's the best swordsman in the Own, but he's prolly ranked about equal third with 'may.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ Only with his beer =3;
Sin-of-Lust~ Yeah, but he's loyal to his wife.
Sin-of-Avarice~ He hates when it's his shout at the pub, but outside that he's generally pretty charitable.
Sin-of-Sloth~ Not really, no. He trains pretty rigorously, helps around the house a lot, but he likes to take time out and relax as well.
Virtues~ If you're the right person, he's a very funny guy. Damn near impossible to have a serious conversation with him, but he knows exactly how to make any given person laugh, no matter how depressed or angry they are.
