Inel's Profile
The trick is to keep breathing, Inel's song
No introductory minific as yet, but that'll come.

Inel, the listener and one of the two palumen in the Own. The sort of spear/staff thing is his palu, with a pair of snakies engraved into the wood. It's got a metal rod through the middle of it so it's strong enough to use as a kind of bladed staff, but made of wood so it's light enough to throw as a spear. Not often used that way, since it then leaves him palu-less, but can be if the need arose. It's a very difficult weapon to master, and not given half as much glamour as it deserves, but Inel couldn't give a stuff. He's not so much into the glitz and glamour of being an Own rider, anyway X3

He usually has his hair down, but back in that loose ponytail when in uniform. I woulda drawn him with his hair down, but I forgot >> He'd got an underbite too, which was actually a mistake when I drew the Pwned pic, so I decided bah~ screw it, he's got an underbite. Why shouldn't he? X3 So there you go. And he's got a slight limp in his left leg. He broke it on the last two missions--first in the battle where General Rau was killed, then in the most recent one when his horsie, Spirit, was killed and fell on him. So yeah, that was fun. It didn't quite heal properly the first time, so he's got a limp now. It doesn't hurt, only when it's going to rain, which is fine in Raykin but a constant dull ache in Kazin, poor boi *pats him* If you're wondering about the nickname of his new horsie Coconut... inside joke X3 read this if you're particularly curious >D

Inel's a lovely boy. Very easy-going and approachable, down-to-earth and practical. He was highly pressured by his father when he was in army training to get into Swordsmen First Company, so he originally started out with that. However, once he passed his final exams, it was clear he would never get any higher than Third Company, and his palu instructor said he should try the exams again with the orange shirt instead. So he went through final year again, making his father almost want to disown him, but of course he passed 100% for the palu, and got in the Own four years later, at which point Dad thrust lashings of praise on him and boasted to everyone that his son was in the Own. Woulda made anyone else want to slap him, but Inel's too relaxed for that. He was just happy with himself for getting in =3

He's a great listener, too. If you've got a problem you just want to talk about, Inel's the one to take it to. He never really tried to, but a while ago, someone told him he gave great advice, so he took that to heart and sorta made it his mission. Lovely boy, is Inel *^^*

He loves religions and mythology, especially all the stories that go with it. He's always had a background interest, but ever since the twins appeared on the scene when he was 22, and one of the myths was proven to be true, he's wondered just how many of these stories was actually true. He doesn't actively go out to find this out, but it just makes all the myths and legends fascinate him even more.

Oh! And I just looked up Fina's profile and found they've got two little boys. Oops >> *adds them to the paper copy* Twin boys, ten years old, and who I should probably name now... Benq and Dell *SHOT* I'm not in a naming mood. Fleh~ Hagi and Qiren, there you go =3
