Age~ 26
Currently Appearing In~ Unnamed appearance in the last SH draft, will probably remain unnamed once the desert group appears in the current draft, but stuff it it's nice to know she's there.
Orientation~ Straight
Origin~ Hell knows.
Significant Other(s)~ Akleru (children: Nida, Uli died age 3. Parents: Laer and Qowen)
Background~ Weya was about 15 when she and her immediate family left due to the group growing too large to support itself. She'd grown very settled into the way the group worked and her place in it. When they left, she found herself suddenly thrown in the deep end, having to hunt with the rest of the family and really work to survive. She also had a sweetheart of her own, but he was too chicken to leave the group and come with her. Weya never questioned the decision to leave--she could see how the group was being crippled--but that didn't mean she had to like it.
Still, she's always been a responsible girl, continued to pull her weight and became quite a strong hunter, largely due to the efforts of her father. When they eventually hooked up with Gunai's dying family, she felt incredibly proud of herself for being instrumental in getting that family back on its feet. She had a place again and was relatively happy, though she had grown bitter towards her boyfriend for being such a little wimp, and none of the other guys in this new group were for her. She was briefly with Ruwi (who you'll hear about later) but~ he was a bit too overbearing for her liking.
However, she stuck with him until Lynun showed up a few months and he got with her instead. A year or so later, some poor random sod stumbled near-death into their camp. Said random was Akleru, who Weya took on as a sort of project to show Ruwi she could make do without him. Akleru was oblivious to all this and fell in love with her, and Weya saw no reason to resist. So, the two of them got together and had two kiddies, aww. However, since her son died (last year in story terms) Weya's been very bitter, especially towards her brother, whom she blames for Uli's death. Dunno why, I'll get to that when I do Alir's profile.
Employment~ Primarily cooks, gets the campfire ready, that sort of thing. Occasionally goes out on hunts when she needs to get away from everyone.
Appearance~ Probably inherited the most of her mother's genes. Same sort of beak-nose, though with a particularly enhanced bridge. Wavy, shoulder-length hair parted over her left eye, thin lips and narrow eyes. None of these people are designed to be lookers, I hope you realise XD;
Distinguishing Characteristics~ The bridge of her nose, partly because I failed drawing it then decided I liked it. Yay serendipity.
Quirks~ If anything ever goes wrong for someone, however big or small, she'll brush it off with a shrug and a 'that's life.' She gives the impression that she's beyond caring, but she probably cares more than she lets on. She keeps herself to herself mostly, but she's probably the one who tries most to keep others from dying.
Sin-of-Anger~ Repressed unless it concerns her brother, Alir, who she'll snap at with no provocation. Otherwise, she sees outright anger as a waste of energy.
Sin-of-Envy~ INSANELY jealous of Lynun, who has two kiddies and they're both healthy.
Sin-of-Pride~ She's still proud of herself for being instrumental in getting the family group back on its feet again. She also nursed Akleru back to health when he stumbled in on them.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ No~
Sin-of-Lust~ Largely sapped dry when she lost her son. She'd been nursing him and helping him grow up for three years, then all that effort just blew away. She hardly feels it's worth it anymore.
Sin-of-Avarice~ Nup.
Sin-of-Sloth~ Certainly not. She probably does more than she needs to, even if the hunting she says is for personal gain (ie getting away for a bit).
Virtues~ Weya is dedicated, she just doesn't show it in terms of the little things. She's hardened from the year out in the desert with just her two siblings and parents, and doesn't let the little things get to her. Weya can see the big picture, how to best keep the whole family group alive and well.
