Can't really say which of the two I prefer... I love how 'may's wings came out way~ more than 'min, and her hair, and the sword's straighter (on the Photoshop at least. Couple of doubled-up lines on the original). However, I like the lighting better on Unorthodox. Nimay seems to kinda blend into the background a bit too much, but Yamin, of course, stands out. It's awkward shading with purple and neon blue over very dark brown and black with a bit of silver. Still not entirely happy with Nimay's skin. The natural colour just seems to orange against all the blue and purple.
Anyway.
I love wings *^^* Particularly 'may's, cos they're so fuzzy and messy. 'min keeps her wings too neat =P Problem is that putting all the damn texture onto said wings takes forever. That bit I don't like so much >< It does add a lot tho. I experimentally turned off the texture layer and just left it with the flat black and shading over top, and it was so... flat, strangely enough. So yus, for all the tediousness of texturing feathers, it's worth it =3
I've been meaning to do this for so long XD;
