Not a NaNo 09: Princess Amyrallyn

Continuing with the Not-a-NaNo for 2013, wherein I pull names out of a little box and give them some character.

NAME Princess Amyrallyn
WHO IS THIS PERSON Third child of the Llayan monarchs, Lynnlita's older sister and best friend
GENDER Female
AGE 27
BRIEF BIO Amyrallyn's life is a Llayan romance novel. I imagine she reads a lot of them. Numerous men have courted (or tried to court) her in her life, but Amyrallyn is juuust a bit picky. She's a princess and she feels she deserves the best. Some have left calling her too demanding, others she has dropped because they didn't live up to her lofty royal standards. So she floated through her teens and early-twenties like this, never developing the attachment she was looking for, until a couple of years ago when [insert name here] came along and Amyrallyn decided she had found her Mr Perfect. I dunno who he is we'll get to him in a later profile. But they've been courting for a year now and neither has ditched the other, yay!
She did the traditional royal meet-and-greet at age 9, along with Lynnlita, and hated it. There was no luxury until they finally reached one or another foreign palace, and none of the other royal kids were old enough to play with (Nol was the oldest and he was 5. YAY immature small boy). Amyrallyn is very much ensconced in Wensleydale, no interest whatsoever in going abroad, though she will, if pestered, leave Wensleydale for some grand party in a nearby town. Doesn't happen often, though.
CHARACTER Amyrallyn is a social butterfly. She has a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, especially in the artistic community, and loves a good gossip. She has never had any interest in ruling, leaving that burden with her older sister Evelandel, and has instead taken after her mother in her love of a good party. No sooner has one great feast concluded than Amyrallyn is planning the next. She loves the theatre, and very rarely enjoys a 'quiet night' at home. It's this go-go attitude that her potential suitors have found particularly demanding. She finds it hard to settle.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Lynnlita is her best friend, and she is Lynnlita's. They're both of the opinion that nobody understands what it is to be a younger princess and there's plenty of stuff they can only talk about together.
Amyrallyn loves embroidery. She's made a few of her own dresses, but generally leaves the wearable art to the craftspeople in the kingdom, since she likes to support their arts.
