Not a NaNo 19: Alias Correa
Dec. 27th, 2013 02:43 amContinuing with the assassins~ because there are too damn many of them damnit why do all of my groups of people have so many PEOPLE in them? Five assassins would've been plenty, Shizaaqa, really now.

Nine assassins down and I realised I didn't yet have a femme fatale. Correa is she. I didn't do her head tilt as well as Bluebell the other day but I do love her eyes.
NAME Adina, alias 'Correa'
WHO IS THIS PERSON One of the current Bouquet, personal assassination squad of the Kazinian empress. Correa is the Sijaaz connection.
GENDER Female
AGE 29
BRIEF BIO Adina grew up as the daughter of an investigator (Kazin's excuse for a police force) and from early on wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. Once she became an investigator herself, she was scarily dedicated. She'd do whatever it took to get her crooks and bring them in, often--as evidenced from her introduction as the femme fatale--by seducing her targets and getting them to tell her everything. She went undercover a lot.
One day, Adina uncovered a plot to kill... idk someone important. Her best friend or her sibling or someone, who was an official, let's roll with that. In any case, shit got personal. So when Adina found out who it was organising the plot, simply bringing them in and letting the system judge them wasn't enough. Adina knew the system, and knew that, since nobody had actually been hurt as yet, nothing would really happen to them. Maybe a year in the dungeons, not nearly enough. And so, over the course of a year or so, Adina tracked them all down and killed them all on her own.
Once she had finally finished, the organised system of punishment was no longer enough for her. Going back to the life of bringing the criminals in and letting the system judge was too dull, didn't serve well enough. So for a few more years, she continued killing all those she thought would get off too lightly, or that she couldn't PROVE were guilty but she knew they were anyway.
Eventually, as did all the Bouquet, Adina was caught and dragged to Assiraz, where she met her kindred goddamned spirit in Shizaaqa. Oozing power and knowing exactly how to use it to get people to do what she wants, yep, that was the kind of person Adina wouldn't at all mind working for. Shizaaqa didn't even have to threaten to kill her. I KNOW. So she was honoured with the new title of Correa and sent to work in Sijaaz, one of Kazin's richer provinces, and was a very happy little assassin over there.
Thennnn Tarnish happened and Yan... somehow turned her to wanting to kill Shizaaqa. Idk, plot hole. Yan's good he can manipulate anyone. He probably lured her with power or something.
*JAZZHANDS*
CHARACTER As I say, femme fatale. Correa will say or do anything to get people to spill their secrets to her, and she's very, very good at it. She'll have anyone believing that they're the only one she trusts, the only one who really knows her. She does the whole cold-hard-bitch-but-only-you-can-soften-me thing to get people to trust her.
POINTS OF INTEREST
These are correas.
Correa is Shizaaqa's favourite.
