Character 100-ish 030: Lin

Continuing on with the Character 100-ish, it's someone who already exists, yay! And hey look it's the 30th character so the not-a-NaNo part is finished :D


This was a test of water. I had no idea how to tackle it. Still not entirely sure what I did beyond squiggling a whole lot.

NAME Lin
WHO IS THIS PERSON Raykin's goddess of water and life
GENDER Female
AGE Ageless freaking GOD.

BRIEF BIO K so creation myth, I guess! Honestly, very little of it comes down to the goddesses, so far as the Raykinians are concerned. Aeia (goddess of the desert and death, who you'll meet later) created the world out of desert, then Lin splashed water over a decent chunk of it. She kinda missed Raykin. And Llayad. And Tsayth. And everything west of Llayad and Tsayth. Yeah Lin's the weaker of the goddesses, so far as Raykin is concerned. Ocean doesn't count because they don't live there.
And then she made life! A good chunk of the desert stories talk about how and why she created various creatures and plant life. People specifically need a more fleshed-out story than I'm likely to come up with in a character profile. See if I think it up by the time Aeia comes up.

CHARACTER Doesn't have one, that's why her face is blank. Maybe she's smiling benevolently at a wedding, maybe she's apathetic because your life is crap and it seems she doesn't care about you, maybe she's a comforting hug, maybe she's your mum, and whatever that entails. Lin has whatever face and associated character you see in her.

Llayans also believe in Lin but only as the goddess of water. They reckon life is too powerful to be overseen by just one good. Way too much to it. Psh. Idiots.

Lin and Aeia are sisters. Aeia's the older one. They don't have parents because I will godmod these bitches whenever I feel like it.
