Character 100-ish 084: Commander Hasan

Just two commanders to go, one with a name and the other without.
Sallie asked a couple of days ago whether Kazin had mohawks. For some reason I've never thought about this before, but with their culture-base of birds--feather jewellery, music based on birdsong--it'd make sense for them to have mohawks, too, or at least what they can manage with their technology. So, next Kazinian dude to come out of the very small box gets a mostly shaved head with long on top :D

BRIEF BIO Hasan is Commander Sadiqi's younger brother, the one-eyed commander I did last weekend. They were brought up under huge pressure from a father and a grandfather who were in the Commanding Circle of their times, and the second grandfather who was a black horse rider. Like his brother, Hasan knuckled down and did the work, literally bred for command, but where Sadiqi saw the pressure as something to live up to, Hasan simply saw it as fun. He enjoyed learning about battles and war and tactics.
Hasan began quickly climbing the ranks in the army after he graduated from army training, leading battles and such before making it to the rank of commander at 32, a fair bit later than his brother only because of his somewhat cavalier attitude that made the general and empress reluctant to acknowledge his tactical skills. In the end it was Sadiqi who convinced them both he was good enough, a favour which Hasan returned soon after by helping convince Shizaaqa to keep Sadiqi in her Circle when he lost his eye.
In the end, though, it was his cavalier attitude that got Hasan killed by the Bouquet when they took over the palace in Tarnish.
CHARACTER Hasan throws himself whole-heartedly into every task he's given. He can be a little cavalier at times, counselling battle to just 'get it over with' rather than exercising prudence. He often thinks that, because his own army and Commanding Circle are better, that they'll win easily.
POINTS OF INTEREST
He and Sadiqi have a very strong brotherly relationship. They've both grown up under the same pressure and, while they've both faced it in different ways, they've come out the other end stronger and more companionable for it.
Hasn't settled down with anyone, though he's had plenty of flings.
