Character 100-ish 104: Ruyn

I have a heater in my room now until the aircon is fixed yessssss.


CHIIIILD I don't feel like I've much improved children on this thing. Ruyn seems to have worked but they're up and down, really. I think I forgot a bit of shading on his nose. Oh well.

BRIEF BIO When Ruyn was three, he was bitten by a thrai, the most venomous snake in Raykin, that was sleeping in his toy box. This thing can kill a full-grown man in about twenty minutes. Gylepi ran him to the palace healing house and Yamin was just barely able to save his life. She ended up in a magic coma for about a month, and Ruyn himself was blinded.
So Ruyn is basically the only child to have had anything much happen to him. And it's a shit thing. Sorry Ruyn.

CHARACTER Ruyn was very shy and withdrawn for a short while after his snake bite, but he's now just as happy and mischievous as he had been before it. He's a very cheeky boy, and loves to test his mother's patience almost as much as his big sister Lania.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Ruyn loves toys with moving parts, especially carved pieces of wood he can hammer nails into and create his own toys out of.

Ruyn is surprisingly eloquent for a six-year-old. His entire life comes through his ears now so he pays more attention to what people are saying.

Gylepi dotes on him so bad. SO BAD.
