Gods are the most fun. I can't believe it's taken until now for the Kazinian gods to show up.

Design inspired by Balinese Hinduism, mostly Garuda, who is a bird, and Rangda, who is a witch but has that big hair.

BRIEF BIO Creation myth time! Ulzaq, Kazinian god of war, created the world and everything in it. He created men so they could war against each other, because that's entertainment. Wanting to impress their god, the people all tried to die in more and more exciting and honourable ways, to the point where Ulzaq decided it wasn't really war anymore and just a slaughter.
So then he created Nizaaz to heal all the men, so they could get more skilled at fighting and tactics and all that entertainment.
Nizaaz didn't like that her only duty was to heal the warriors just so they could get injured again, so she created women. While they didn't have the physical strength of Ulzaq's men, they had much more sense. Nizaaz gave them the power to create life, so it wasn't just left to Ulzaq anymore. She created compassion in her women so that people would start protecting each other instead of killing each other.
It kinda worked. A little bit.

CHARACTER While she created compassion in people, Nizaaz has little of it herself. She doesn't heal everyone, only those who deserve it.

POINTS OF INTEREST

Kazinians believe in reincarnation to a certain extent. When someone dies they go to see the gods, who judge the manner of their death and how honourable it was. They then either accept the person's soul into their realm if they did well, or send them back to the human world if they failed so they can do it right.

In Nizaaz's mind, dying by killing yourself is the most dishonourable way to die. Top of the list is dying to save someone else.

Nizaaz is totally where the Kazinian royal family Colours come from. Obviously.
