Last Llayan! And also technically the last Kazinian but, well. He's 100% Llayan.
He inherited Dad's super curly red hair. He hates it just as much as Kanera does, too.
NAME Prince Keldian
WHO IS THIS PERSON Future eldest child of Princess Lynnlita of Llayad and Prince Kanera of Kazin
GENDER Male
AGE Not born yet and won't be for a few years yet. Pictured in his 20s.
BRIEF BIO As the eldest child of the youngest in the Llayan royal family, and of the eldest (surviving) from the Kazinian royal family, not to mention being named after the Llayan king, Keldian has always had pretty grand opinions of himself. He's always felt he's been destined for great things, not necessarily leading the kingdom (his big cousin Anakarina fills that roll) but something awesome. He just doesn't know what that is.
Keldian has done everything in his life. He's tried the arts in painting, embroidery and fashion design. He's tried following in both parents' footsteps, learning politics from his mother to try and be an advisor to his cousin or be an ambassador like his father. He's been once to Kazin, discovering that being a warrior there was the only thing a man could do and be respected, and tried training for that, too. He's even tried wooing the respective leaders of both Tsayth and Raykin.
Keldian's done it all. The problem is that he feels like he should instantly be awesome at everything. When he realises after a few months, maybe a year tops, that whatever skill he's chosen requires practice to get it right. He's kind of lost, not knowing just what he wants to do with his life.
CHARACTER Sullen, flighty, frustrated and jealous. For a brief period of a couple of weeks, when he starts some new life's pursuit, Keldian is excited and dedicated, but when he realises how much work it'll take to be awesome at it, he goes back into his frustrated ways. He just needs to find something that he enjoys doing for the sake of doing it, not just because it's a respected profession.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Keldian loves eye shadow. One thing he's never given up is looking fabulous. Eventually, I think, this will be the thing that sticks--make-up artist! He can team up with fashion designer sister.
Keldian frustrates the living hell out of Lynnlita. Every time he latches onto a new passion, she thinks maybe this will be the one, but every time he fails her.
