Last~ one. Ok, so it wasn't exactly 15 nights. It would've been if LJ hadn't eaten one of them and completely put me off the idea for a week. Anyway, Yoryl, final member of the Own, whose character is based on the song Cherry Lips by Garbage.
Name~ Yoryl
Age~ 26
Currently Appearing In~ He's been in a mini!fic not too long ago. Other than that, just the collective Own.
Orientation~ Gay
Origin~ Ni-Yana, capital of Raykin
Significant Other(s)~ None
Background~ Yoryl was brought up in an upper-middle class household, and began training at 15, as do they all. He started out with the sword as his weapon of choice, but ditched that halfway through and took up the purple shirt of the blade archers. He had a girlfriend for most of the time, but much to her displeasure, he didn't propose to her; it just didn't feel right to him. In the end he realised he definitely preferred guys over girls, but didn't know how to break it to his lady fair, so he just strung it out instead.
Once he got into the Own, it came out pretty quickly anyway, so~ his bonnie lass buggered off to live as far~ away from the Own as possible. Yoryl himself doesn't have the slightst problem with it.
He's the second-most recent guy to get in the Own, having only been on two missions, the first of which was the one when the previous General, Rau, was killed. Yoryl himself ended up with a broken arm and two broken fingers. Great start to the career, don'tcha think?
Employment~ First Company blade archer and rider for the King's Own.
Appearance~ If the lyrics to Cherry Lips aren't enough: he's very, very femme. He hasn't quite got the "cherry lips," "golden curls" or "baby blues," but he comes about as close to it as a Raykinian can get. He's been known to crossdress on occasion, too. Very stark contrast to the other, somewhat more thick-set guys who ride Raykin's horses. Shoulder-length, wavy hair usually tied in a high ponytail. Few scars here and there, but he hasn't really been on enough missions to get too many. Index and pinkie fingers on his left hand are bent slightly due to them having been broken.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ Kinda like Nimay in that he is a distinguishing characteristic. The whole femmey thing, that's distinctive.
Quirks~ Now that everyone knows anyway, Yoryl doesn't at all mind flaunting his gayness. He's ridiculously charming and will immediately come onto anyone just for the hell of it. Very loud and gregarious guy. He's the life of the party X3 He's also a blade archer, and a very bloody good one at that, which inevitably results in him having fun ditching things at people, because he can. He's even more annoying than Kaen in that respect (the other blade archer in the Own.)
Sin-of-Anger~ It takes a lot to wipe the smile from Yoryl's face.
Sin-of-Envy~ Hell no. He's very happy where he is.
Sin-of-Pride~ Complete showoff with everything, even the stuff he's pretty terrible at, namely the sword. Why he picked that as his weapon of choice initially, the world shall never know. The other guys in the Own regularly have bets whenever he and Nol bear swords against each other.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ Yoryl's the complete opposite. Prolly doesn't eat enough.
Sin-of-Lust~ Not as much s he makes out.
Sin-of-Avarice~ Nah, not really.
Sin-of-Sloth~ Undoubtedly the laziest guy in the Own. His 'training' generally involves going to the pub to hurl a few daggers at the target there. Almost has to be dragged to the palace to do it properly.
Virtues~ While he's usually bouncing off the walls, he can be serious if needs be. He's a good listener and does his best to give advice. It's also damn near impossible to leave his company without a smile on your face, regardless as to how shitty your day's been =3
