Meet Aari, wife of Gylepi. Oh-so-loosely based on the song Sanctuary by Madonna.
Name~ Aari
Age~ 27

Origin~ Ni-Yana, capital of Raykin
Significant Other(s)~ Husband: Gylepi, archer of the King's Own
Background~ Born and bred in the very high-class suburbs of Ni-Yana, Aari has never had to think about money. She took up painting at an early age as a hobby, and despite the money to be found in such a profession in Ni-Yana, she never considered turning it into a job at any point. Employment has never been an issue for her, and she couldn't stand to give away any of her paintings anyway. Instead they get hung all over the house, and changed over when she gets bored of one =3
It was while she was painting a sunset on the banks of the Ra-Lin that she met Gylepi, when she was fifteen. Gylepi likes the simple things in life, if you'll remember, and he stood there watching over her shoulder for a while before she noticed. He awkwardly complemented her on her painting, she awkwardly thanked him for his compliments, then they awkwardly started talking and slowly got more natural as the evening wore on, before Gylepi awkwardly asked to walk her home and wanted to see her again, and she awkwardly said yes. Aww~ *^^*
Two years later they married, and after another three Gylepi was accepted into the Own. Aari does her best to be happy for him, but really she's scared stiff every time he leaves. She's at least got the kiddies, Lania (daughter, seven) and Ruyn (son, six), to keep her company now, but they don't stop her worrying about her husband.
Employment~ She's been married to an Own rider for almost a decade. As if she needs to have a job!
Appearance~ Tall for a Raykinian woman, still barely reaches Gylepi's shoulders tho XD Slender figure, not much in the way of hips or boobage, tends to wear conservative clothes partly because she's got nothing much to show off, partly because she's got no reason to show off anyway. Looooooong hair parted over her right eye and that she takes very good care of, almost always worn down, very silky and I have envy. Usually wears tasteful, unobtrusive gold jewellery. She's not a show-off.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ Her hair~~~ *.* You just want to stroke it and see how soft it is X3
Quirks~ She likes the simplet things in life, like Gylepi does--standing out in the rain, watching the sunset turn the desert to gold, a hug from any of her family members, stuff like that. She prefers hugs over kisses. They're more loving in her mind =3
Sin-of-Anger~ Generally a very mild mannered woman, but she can get fed up with the kids when they're being brats. Never slaps them, but damn she's got some vocal chords on her when she needs to use them. They're spoilt brats whenever Daddy's home, yasee X3;;;
Sin-of-Envy~ In a way. She wishes Gylepi could be home all the time of course, but she loves him far~ too much to want someone else who could actually be with her.
Sin-of-Pride~ Hell yes. She has hella pride in her family, especially Gylepi, but not so much for his position as his personality. Far as she can see, he's stayed the same person as before he got in the Own. She's very modest of her own achievements though, like her paintings or her hair.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ She eats well, but not a lot of it.
Sin-of-Lust~ Like hell. She's a one man woman.
Sin-of-Avarice~ She tries not to be, but she knows she makes Gylepi feel guilty every time he has to go on a mission.
Sin-of-Sloth~ She's lived in a house with servants for her entire life--no idea how to cook or make the bed, because they've always done it for her and she's never had reason to learn.
Virtues~ She's so good for Gylepi, really ^^ She knows when he needs to be hit over the head or when he needs to be comforted, and they've got this kind of connection that seems so much like desert magic, but of course it can't be since neither of them have the faintest idea about it.
