Kurae, the chef of the Own. They all have to cook the same number of times on missions, according to the roster, but Kurae's are the meals to look forward to. He loves cooking, more for the aromas than the tastes. The Kazinian spice markets are his heaven, but he loves the markets in Ni-Yana too. Fresh bread in the morning, meat smoking on the grill over the fire, all of it.
Despite that tho, he doesn't take compliments well. Whenever he gets complimented on his cooking, which is of course every meal, he doesn't acknowledge it at all, just keeps doing what he was doing. He might nod if it was a swordie who gave the compliment, but that'd be as far as it goes.
He's very cliquey with the other swordies, barely ever talks with the other Own riders at all--because let's face it, the firing squad are small children, in mind if not in body, and the dagger tossers are annoying gits. And the stickmen are just... there. Nobody ever has much of an opinion on the stickmen. They're just... there.
All this, along with his heavy brow that makes him look like he's angry when really he's just bored or thinking, makes him somewhat intimidating to anyone who doesn't know him and isn't a swordie. So long as you can get past the hard exterior, he's cool =3 Unless you wear a blue or purple shirt, then he's got next to no tolerance. The blade archers in the Own pick on him the least of everyone, just because he has that air about him that he'll do~ something to them. And he probably would. Slip too much chilli into their meal or something like that >3
Also~ he's got a crush on Yoryl. Yeah. Wouldn'a thunk it from the last four paragraphs, would you? He hides it well. Won't admit it to anyone, least of all himself. But we know cos we're Gods, and we know all~ >D (well, as much as I tell you, anyway >3)
