Once again, the family tree.


Name~ Akleru
Age~ 27
Currently Appearing In~ On the peripherals in Silent Harmony, but the group won't appear in the current draft for a while. Unlikely he'll get named in-story.

Significant Other(s)~ Weya (children: Nida, Uli died age 3)
Background~ Akleru's mother died giving birth to him, so according to the rest of the family group, he was born unlucky. Whenever anything bad happened that didn't have a direct cause, he was blamed. Clouds going overhead with no rain, someone being bitten by a snake, diseases, whatever, always his fault. Eventually it got to the stage where they just looked at him to get the message across.
Akleru's always tried to prove them wrong, by doing as much as he can for them, going out on every hunting expedition, but of course whenever the animal gets away, he gets the blame. Not necessarily because he scared it off or was too slow to catch it, just because he's unlucky.
One day a few years ago, a group of travelling Riverfolk attacked them and commandeered their watering hole (nuuu not the Own, they wouldn't do that) and as a result, they lost a few of their family members. This was the last straw, and they threw Akleru out. This was even confirmation for him that he was unlucky, so he had no qualms about leaving.
Akleru was near-death when Laer's group picked him up, and Weya in particular nursed him back to health. It wasn't long before the two of them got together and had two kiddies. Since being picked up, he's still felt he's had to prove himself and make himself feel useful, and without anyone knowing about his curse, he did well. He was beginning to think he'd kicked his unlucky streak until~ Uli died, then he confessed it to Weya. She was momentarily pissy with him for not telling him, but it didn't last long. She knew whose fault it really was, though Akleru still blames himself. Wow, look at these background sections get longer for every one XD;
Employment~ Hunter mostly, but he tries to help with anything he can.
Appearance~ Particularly pointy and gaunt face, always looks nervous or ashamed. Short, scratchy beard and messy, shaggy hair.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ ...Let's give him a scar, just cos nobody else has yet. Over his right eye, from the fight with the Riverfolk that got him chucked out.
Quirks~ Insanely superstitious. If anything goes wrong, he still blames himself for it, even if it was in no way his fault.

Sin-of-Anger~ Only with himself.
Sin-of-Envy~ Not as such. He pities anyone for associating with him... which has nothing to do with envy, but shush.
Sin-of-Pride~ Hahahaha yeah right.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ Again, no~
Sin-of-Lust~ Yeah, and he feels guilty for it. Despite how much he tries, he doesn't feel like he deserves much if any pleasure, especially since Weya's drive was crushed into the dirt when Uli died.
Sin-of-Avarice~ Hell no. He's too selfless.
Sin-of-Sloth~ No not at all. He tries so hard to prove himself, little does he realise he's only trying to prove to himself. The rest of the family group thinks he's great.
Virtues~ ...This guy sounds like Emon. I swear he's not that annoying XD; He never complains about himself out loud and rather than resigning himself to his fate, he really tries to set things right before they go wrong.
