Map of Ni-Yana

Part of rewriting the Big Book of Stuff means mapping important places. I've always known what Ni-Yana looks like, always known that they number their districts from the palace outwards, but actually pinpointing the districts has been a matter of making up a number on the spot and going "yeah~ that's a rich suburb." This will make giving people residences and birth places much easier =3

The big sweeping road that irritatingly crisscrosses everything and splits a couple of districts in two is where the Ra-Lin used to be when Ni-Yana was first built. Then they realised it had moved a fair bit and made another parallel road to the river. So the palace is kind of a long way from the river now. WOOPS. Good thing it's not Nol and Mithé collecting the water >>

The big hexagon things in the markets are where the sort of town square type things are. Big public events happen there :D

The north-eastern corner is where the farmers live, cos it's close to the farms :D The richer farmers live by the river, then the further from the river they live, the less well-off they are. Nobody ever wrongly assumes they're south of the Main Road, not even the nobility on the opposite corner of the city. The yellow-green from 14-36, however? Nothing they say will convince the northerners that they're Not From The South. Whenever I've said someone's from south of the main road BUT NOT THAT FAR SOUTH, that's where they're from.

The Own all live in the 29th and 30th districts, Nimay and Yamin lived as little kiddies in the 12th district, and all the best pubs are in the 7-6-10-26 type area. The Golden Thrai is in the top corner of the 6th X3 I dunno where Big Juggs is. Ask Sallie :D
