Map of Tsyllaes

Seems I redo the map roughly every 4 years--the first was in 2004 then the next in 2008 and this one in 2013. Llayad's really the only one that's changed, and it's changed a LOT. All that's really left is the great lake in the middle, the mountains in the north (which have expanded), the savanna in the middle (which has also expanded) and the desert down the bottom (which has shrunk). The capital has moved every time I've made a new map XD It started out at the bottom fork on what is now the River Tsayth (formerly the Tsayla), then moved up to the bulgy bit out on the same river where Villa D'Este is now, and now I've stuck it over on the edge of the lake, which is much more convenient for international travel.
Speaking of, Raykin has an extra watercourse now. I KNOW. This is purely because the travel between Llayad and Raykin has always bothered me. Let's chuck the old map below so you can see what I mean. It used to be a frigging insane journey between Kilyad and Ni-Yana. Unless you're cutting across about 600km of desert, which is a serious ask in modern times, let alone without technology, from Kilyad, you're going 700km downstream to the coast, then another 600km of sea travel to the mouth of the Ra-Lin and up another 500km of river before FINALLY NI-YANA. Ain't nobody got time for that. So now, from Wensleydale, you just kick it up the River Byethorne to Rockston, skip across to the River Taminga and coast down to Ni-Yana. SO MUCH MORE SENSE.
Also, Wensleydale, Berkley Vale and Panmure have to be together. They're the three houses across the road from me. I was tempted to therefore put Rockston across the lake from them, but decided I wanted Rockston to be more important. WOO ROCKSTON.
Silrona is now called Sirrona, purely so that Princess Assili can have a speech impediment that means she can't pronounce Nolryn's name correctly. Just cos he can't pronounce hers and he needs to have SOMETHING to pick on with her. Spelling of a couple of Raykinian cities has also changed to be more Raykinian.
Tsayth hasn't changed since its inception. I think it's unlikely to in the future, either. Land doesn't mean much to Tsaythis.

Just for fun, here's the first map from 2004 :D

Wow. Saturated. And I differentiated between different kinds of desert. That's probably a smart idea considering half the world is desert. Ah well, I can't be bothered :D
