Not a NaNo 03: Alias Rafflesia

Continuing with this year's not-a-NaNo, where I pull a random character from a tiny box and create them. Lucky them!
Her eyes look a little bluer than the average Kazinian. Oh well.
NAME Eligos, alias Rafflesia
WHO IS THIS PERSON One of the modern Bouquet, Empress Shizaaqa's personal assassin squad. Rafflesia is the Suza connection.
GENDER Female
AGE 26
BRIEF BIO Arg the hard part. Okay. So Eligos grew up on the streets of somewhere on the coast, hence her wavy Colours. Those aren't her actual Colours, btw, she stole them, because as a street kid her family couldn't afford such luxuries as dye. So Eligos' early life was tough, stealing to get by, legging it from one town to the next when they became too familiar to the authorities, all the rest of it.
Things continued to escalate, from stealing from empty houses, to pickpocketing, to beating up people in alleys for the sake of a few coppers. One day as a teenager, Eligos and her siblings (four of them all up) got bailed up in an alley. As the eldest, Eligos knew it was her duty to protect her siblings. She nearly ended up killing one of the assailants. The rest of them came back not long after to exact revenge. The feud ran on for a few weeks, Eligos always coming out on top, and then one day she ended up killing one of them.
As this was pretty much natural progression for her, to Eligos this just felt right. Like all the evil and hurt this guy had caused her family had just evaporated, just like that. She was paranoid for a while that the authorities would find her, but nobody ever came. She set out then to kill everyone in the rival gang, and succeeded.
But now she had a taste for blood, and she wanted more. She went targeting anyone who threatened her family, mostly other street people, gang members and such. Then when she was nineteen, war started happening with the neighbouring province. Every able-bodied man the army could find was drafted. When they came for Eligos' brother, she killed them. Far from thankful, her family decided she had gone too far this time, and cast her out. She managed to evade the authorities for a good month or so, but with no protection of her own she was eventually caught. Shizaaqa's intervention brought her to Assiraz and the Bouquet. Her alias, Rafflesia, is Shizaaqa's joke; Eligos refused to bathe when she first met the empress.
So Rafflesia was shipped off to Suza (which was Flannel Flower's province, for those of you playing at home) where it turned out her first target was Suza's then-assassin, who was peeving Shizaaqa off in some way. This was Rafflesia's warning that she'd better not slack off herself, or the incumbent Suzan connection would knock her off, too. Rafflesia was quite enjoying her time as an assassin for the empress--pay was amazing, she got her own cover, and promises of being set free if she was caught. Life was awesome. Then Yan started with his manipulation, subtle as ever he is, and she came to realise that Shizaaqa was actually a bitch and she'd better get her arse to Assiraz. Yes I'm rushing this because I'm realising how LONG this thing is getting.
CHARACTER Vicious. Say one wrong word around this girl and she'll give you warning eyes. She's also kind of reckless, but in six years as Shizaaqa's assassin she's learnt how to do this shit properly. She's never found time or inclination for love; she has far more bloodlust than sexual lust in her. Even not knowing her true nature, people are kind of scared of her.
POINTS OF INTEREST
She has a high-pitched, evil laugh.
Rafflesia has thought of going back to visit her family someday, but realistically she knows she'd only be risking her rep with Shizaaqa to probably never find her family anyway. This is what Yan eventually latched onto to get her to switch sides.
Rafflesia uses daggers. Nothing fancy, just a good short bit of steel and she's happy.

I really like her backstory! She's an interesting one. I kinda love that crazy FF was taken over by... a new crazy XD But yeah I love that backstory a lot. She's interesting.

I have a thing for street kids who start of in a bad situation so just grow up doing bad things just to live. <3 They are a favourite of mine. Also characters who refuse to bathe *coughNorthcough* are awesome. AND that her family cast her out. She has all the things Ku loves and is very very basass.
