Blade Archer Cover

Like the lj-cut says, book cover. Specifically for my NaNovel, which is, as you can see, named Blade Archer. Because the main character is training in the Raykinian army to be one. Ph34r the original story title~ >D

...which I've just realised has the same initials as Black Albino. And Bowspirit's Aim. Bugga.

Anyway, yus, letter opener dipped in tomato sauce and laid on some pritti red sand from my family's trip to the red centre a while back. Same bottle of sand as used in the Desert Sapphire cover, because I'm lazy and couldn't think of a different way of making acover. Live with =P I'll admit, I upped the contrast in Photoshop a bit, but that was only to make the tomato sauce look more bloody, the sand itself hasn't changed a lot. It's actually still slightly greyer than the sand itself, but~ whatever. Hurrah for dodgy blood effects!
