The white-crowned shingleback, which is not a particularly dangerous snake. Its bite makes you sick for like a day then you're fine. Bit longer for the particularly young or particularly old but nobody's ever died after being bitten by one.
Hmmmmmm ooh I know! It can stand them up like animals can with fur, so it provides more shade to cool it down if it starts overheating too much :D
Unless you mean useful for humanity, in which case, idk how solid snake scales are, if they're like fish scales or what. If so, then I'll bet they can use them for jewellery.
