Notes~ kawa~ inspiration #26. Was originally going to be Lynnlita sobbing about how she can't have Nol while Nimay's still there, but~ that didn't happen. Whatever, this works. Sorta.

Lynnlita frowned at her reflection in the mirror, glancing up to that of her sister. “What’s the matter, Amy?”
Amyrallyn shrugged and returned to pulling the stiff brush through her younger sister’s hair. “Lynnlita will have quite the challenge ahead of her, should she choose to pursue her course.”
Lynnlita giggled, then sighed whimsically. “Mother and Father both wish it, as does his Majesty of Raykin.”
The older girl sighed behind her, shaking her head. “But clearly, his Highness of Raykin does not.”
Lynnlita shrugged, then began smoothing out invisible wrinkles in her skirts. “Lynnlita did not meet the prince under the most desirable of circumstances, this is true, but can it be said there is no future after only a few meetings?”
“Normally, no, but in this case, the answer would most definitely be yes.”
The younger princess scowled at her sister’s reflection. “How so?”
Amyrallyn stopped brushing again to look sympathetically at the younger girl. “He already has another, Lynnlita. Don’t scowl so; it’s most unbecoming.”
Lynnlita paid no heed to her sister’s advice. “He’s not yet asked for her hand,” she protested, nose in the air.
The older girl sighed wordlessly.
“And besides, what prince would take a warrior for a wife? Steel and sweat is hardly attractive.”
Amyrallyn grinned.
“What now?”
“Is that not partly the reason for Lynnlita’s attraction to the prince?” she asked slyly.
Lynnlita’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Attractive on a woman, then.”
Her sister was still grinning. “Perhaps such things are, to Raykinians.”
The younger princess made a face, then cast a disparaging look at her sister. “Is sister dearest suggesting Lynnlita bear arms as a man?”
Amyrallyn laughed openly now. “Sister dearest would do nothing of the sort.” She glanced up from her brushing, the same sly look in her eye. “Though it would make for a most amusing spectacle.”
The image of herself in the garb of a Raykinian swordsman, heavy lump of steel in her hand, brought an amused grin to her lips. “It would indeed,” she giggled.
