History of Tsyllaes

Like the subject says. And for those who've been wondering what the hell Tsyllaes is, it's the name of the continent that Raykin, Kazin, Llayad and Tsayth are part of, for the simple reason that it's quicker to type than "Raykin and environs" or whatever. So yus. History of Tsyllaes.

There are still a copule of centuries where NOTHING happens, and I s'pose they could remain uneventful, but it'd be nice to have something happening there. Anyone with any suggestions whatsoever would be very helpful =3 Got a few big-arse droughts in there, cyclones in Kazin (specifically hitting Assiraz, since any others wouldn't be significant enough to really make history. They happen all the time in the tropics), an earthquake or two, coupla plagues, and of course Gods know how many wars, mostly between Raykin and Kazin.

I ummed and ahed over sticking a tsunami in there somewhere, but the only place that can really happen is the Kazinian and western Raykinian coasts (map for reference), since that's the ocean where the fault line would be, and that coast is pretty much unoccupied apart from the odd fishing village or three. Even Sinazi only has 1000 people in it. Certainly nothing of the scale of the Asian tsunami. Basically, not enough of an impact to make history in Tsyllaes.

So yeah, any other ideas would be much appreciated ^^ year 4000-onwards I'll do separately, since that's all a lot more relevant.

2508 ~ Llayad brings its own forces into the war to try and protect Tsayth. Generally get killed instead

2666 ~ Combined forces of Third Great Drought and a massive earthquake in Assiraz stop war

3453 ~ King has affair with Kazinian Empress. When it’s discovered, internal wars are sparked within the two kingdoms. Both rulers killed, empress of Kazin is former empress’ sister, First General rules Raykin
3455 ~ First General marries former queen, so she’s queen again

3510 ~ Plague in Ni-Qewira while king and queen are there. Quarantine city, but king and queen both die. Oldest child is only six, so the court rules Raykin until he’s ready

I don't think you know me, but I'm a faithful follower of your site. =D Anyway, some ideas you could use -- coups on the governments, assassination of leaders, economic stuff (boom or depression), scandals, and tournaments (sports stuffs... like those medieval lance battles, etc). I dunno. I hope it was helpful.

I've got the odd coup and assassination, but economic stuff and scandal hadn't even crossed my mind. They'll be fun to play with ^^
