Llayan star signs

Lately, spawned by kesuhato's Star Signs she's been drawing, I've wanted to do the same. Problem being that I really have only 6 major characters plus a few minor ones, and there are 12 star signs. So to solve this problem I've decided the Llayans need star signs, because they'd so have something like that worked out.

Now, Tsyllaes calendar doesn't go by months so much as seasons, meaning four, but~ four star signs is a bit weak really, so we'll go with eight--one for the first and the last half of each season. Works for me.

So now~ comes the fun of working out the actual signs =D This is what I've got so far:

Leopard~ Solitary, secretive, stealthy, cunning, proud, territorial
Giraffe~ Proud, tall, leader, social
Elephant~ Steady, goes with the flow, sensible, can be dangerous, family oriented, social, gentle, excellent memory
Meerkat~ Family oriented, chatty, versatile, nervous, team player, hard working
Ostrich~ Slow on the uptake, small groups, showoffs
Zebra~ Socialite, brave (known to attack lions)
Black Rhinoceros~ Protective, temper, solitary, aggressive

That's seven, so anyone with any idea for another sign would be very helpful ^^ No more cats tho, cos I've already got the leopard. Hippos are much like rhinos only with teeth instead of a horn, so I've decided against the hippos, and it seems that most of the hoofed animals (impalas, wildebeest, gazelles) are very much like zebras in that they live in huge herds and are known to attack lions and associate with other species, but being Llayans they'd have to have the zebra, so yeah, no impalas, wildebeest or gazelles, unfortunately. I s'pose I could go with a mandrill or something, but... I just don't want a monkey >>;;

By rabbit, I meant hare. Yes I did.

And I quote said website about giraffes, because the "Social" by giraffes was kinda bugging me XD;

Even though giraffes are often seen together in groups, they do not form the complex social groups of many plains species. Theirs are loose associations, constantly changing in make-up.

Giraffes = flighty/fair-weather friends XD;;

I like wild dogs, they're pritti ^^ And have enough of a personality to turn into a star sign--social again, vicious towards enemies but very loyal to friends, playful... 'cept that means I've now got nine. Going to have to drop one and~ it's looking like the ostrich or the pangelon, cos I've already got the elephant that sticks it out, faces problems and all that.

Hyenas I looked at, and while I love them, they don't have a lot going for them in terms of star signy-ness. Much like wild dogs and lions in the 'attacking in packs' thing, but don't have so much of a relationship going with the other members of their pack like the wild dogs do, so~ wild dogs take precedence over hyenas, I'm afraid ^^;

Damnit this is awkward ^^;

OMG yes XDDDD I can turn that into a star sign, easy X3 Strong, able to stick it out, faces problems rather than runs away from them =D

Wild dog~ social again, vicious towards enemies but very loyal to friends, playful... Ooh I like this too. Bugga, that means I'm going to have to drop something. Someone help me drop one >>;

Also, I know what you mean about the giraffes, that's half the reason I chose them (plus of course you'd beat me to a pulp if I didn't =3). Shoulda put "social butterflies" instead X3 I~ know what I mean XD;
