10 Healers in 10 Nights ~ Kathana

Healer the second, Kathana. Her character's based on the song Most Girls by P!nk.
Name~ Kathana
Age~ 46
Currently Appearing In~ Again, absolutely bugger-all. Collective healers at most.
Orientation~ Straight
Origin~ Ni-Yana, capital of Raykin, about halfway down the Ra-Lin.
Significant Other(s)~ Nup. She was married, but not anymore.
Background~ Kathana was born in the lower class area of Ni-Yana. Not as bad as south of the Main Road, but getting that way. As such, her parents raised her to marry a rich boi so he could drag them all out of the doldrums. So, little Kathana got a job in the palace, working in the kitchens. It paid sweet bugger-all, but that's not why she got it--she wanted to be able to watch the army trainees. In doing so, she was able to snag the best of the swordies, who graduated and got into First Company, the highest paid bunch in the army. Go Kathana go =D
So for a coupla years, she got spoiled rotten, as did her family, but then~ this bloke of hers, who shall remain nameless until I can be screwed making one up for him, got promoted to Third General of First Company, and Kathana barely ever saw him. By this stage she'd actually started loving him and wanted more than just lavashing of presents and finery from her man. He was, however, married to his job more than to her. So, Kathana decided she'd leave him and find someone better. For the better part of a year she searched, right under her hubby's nose, but he didn't know because he was never there. Anyway, basically, Kathana couldn't find anyone, so instead, when she was 25, she started healer training at one of the smaller healing houses in her district. She finished training when she was 30 and was able to comfortably move out on her own.
Her hubby had kinda felt this coming, so it wasn't a bitter break-up at all, but he was still more married to his job, so that was that. Six years later Kathana got into the palace healing house, and there she is, still looking for a bloke who'll actually be there for her, aww.
Employment~ Healer at the palace healing house, specialising in infectuous diseases.
Appearance~ Being a desert country, the people age a lot faster because of the sun, so she looks about ten years older to our eyes. Her hair comes down to her shoulder blades and is always done up in a tight bun.
Distinguishing Characteristics~ Nup, not really. Sun spots I guess, but that's cos she's getting on a bit, as much as Raykinians do.
Quirks~ Hums to herself a lot. This wouldn't be so bad except that she's really out of tune =D;;
Sin-of-Anger~ She's a stern woman, but I wouldn't call her angry. She does voice her opinions when she thinks one of the girls is throwing her life away with one particular man, but not so far as to rip her head off about it.
Sin-of-Envy~ Any woman who's married to a guy who's not married to his job.
Sin-of-Pride~ Not really, no. She knows she's not as young as she once was.
Sin-of-Gluttony~ She's a damn good cook, but she doesn't overeat.
Sin-of-Lust~ She wants a man, but that's not the reason why =P
Sin-of-Avarice~ She used to be, definitely, but not anymore. She couldn't care squat about money.
Sin-of-Sloth~ Certainly not =0
Virtues~ Since she never had children of her own, she's something of a motherly figure in the healing house. If any of the girls have a problem, Kathana's the one they take it to first.
